WOUND POLYPROPYLENE

Wound Polypropylene Micron Filters

These are popular water filters that have a continuous, diagonally interlocking weave over a supporting core. The most popular media used for these filters is a polypropylene(PP) yarn over a PP supporting core. The winding provides tapered filter passages of controlled size and shape. These filters work on the principle of depth filtration, offering a gradual rise in pressure drop across the life of the filter. The filter equipment functions independently by simply fixing it on the nozzle of any pipeline in the industries for getting clean drinking water.

Brand Hydrowound

MMP is the largest manufacturer of the wound PP filters in India. The Hydrowound filters use the PP yarn manufactured by a superior technology. The yarn is fibrous and has about 40% higher air volume compared to conventional yarn. The filtration takes place by “absorption technology”. This provides for the advantages of (a) lower pressure drop (2) increased efficiency and (3) higher dirt holding capacity.

Micron Rating

MMP Hydrowound filters are offered in standard micron ratings of 0.5, 1, 5, 10, 25, 50, 75 and 100. On request, customised micron rating can also be provided. The filters are of nominal rating with an efficiency of 88-90%

Meltblown Polypropylene Micron Filters

These are popular water filters that have multiple layers of Polypropylene Fibre. These filters work on the principle of depth filtration, offering a gradual rise in pressure drop across the life of the filter equipment. The filter equipment functions independently by simply fixing it on the nozzle of any pipeline in the industries for getting clean drinking water.

Brand OCEANIC and LAGOON

MMP is one of the largest manufacturers of these filters in India. These filters are manufactured in the 3 layer configuration for gradient density filtration. This provides for a controlled pressure drop and effective utilisation of the filter.

The LOGOON & OCEANIC filters are meant for water filtration applications. The oceanic filters can be manufactured in different weights ( 120 gms per 10″ to 200 gms per 10″). As the density of the PP in the filter increases, its strength and efficiency also increases.

Micron Rating

MMP meltblown filters areeoffered in standard micron ratings of 1, 5, 10. On request, customised micronerating ( 0.5 Mic – 100 Mic) can also be provided. The filters are of nominalerating with an efficiency of 88-90%.</p>

PLEATED

Membrane Filter Cartridge

Using polypropylene double-layered membrane as its filtering material and polypropylene shell as its internal support, the filter cartridge is thermally welded without any adhesive or medium break off. It can be used both for infiltration of liquid and gas.

Filter cartridge is characterized by excellent chemical compatibility, high flow rate, low-pressure difference, long life, low price, wide filtration precision and can be used in different places. It can resist sanitization of high pressure and steam.
